Where SKA Comes From
SKA Solutions Group Inc. was founded by April Woodard, bringing together years of experience in grant development, workforce development, program design, strategic partnerships, procurement, product sourcing, and business development.
Throughout her career, April saw organizations with strong ideas and real opportunities struggle to move forward because they lacked the internal capacity, specialized expertise, vendor relationships, or strategic support needed to execute.
SKA Solutions Group was created to help close that gap. Today, the firm provides an integrated range of services spanning grant and proposal development, training and workforce solutions, government contracting support, procurement, and product sourcing, helping clients move from concept to completion.
The name SKA carries a personal meaning for its founder. The initials represent the names of her children, serving as a reminder that this company was built with legacy, opportunity, and the next generation in mind.
